Popular types such as the Jubilee, an oblong watermelon, weigh around 30 lbs. The Crimson Sweet variety is round to oblong and weighs between 16 to 35 lbs. Allsweet is long with a weight of 18 to 30 lbs.
Considerations
Every part of the watermelon is edible, even the seeds, which vary in color from brown and black to white.
