Do Nonvascular Plants Have Seeds?. Nonvascular plants are the simplest type of plant found on land. This type of vegetation does not have seeds, but can reproduce both sexually and asexually.

Types
Nonvascular plants include mosses, liverworts and hornworts and are often referred to as bryophytes. Nonvascular plants are organisms that do not possess complex internal food- and water-conducting tissues.
Reproduction
Most reproduction of nonvascular plants occurs sexually. The plants possess male and female structures called gametangium. These produce sperm and eggs. The sperm swims to the egg to fertilize it to start the reproduction process.
Considerations
Nonvascular plants may reproduce asexually through regeneration of the leaves or other parts of the plant that fall to the ground. This is the less common method of bryophyte reproduction.
