Electrolux lawn mowers are created to cut grass quickly and efficiently. Mowers are available in a wide range of options and price ranges, including push mowers and riding mowers. Most of Electrolux's lawn mowers are created by and marketed from Husqvarna, a global company that is owned by Electrolux.
Automower
Electrolux's Automower has done for lawns what the automatic vacuum cleaner did for household floors. Designed to maintain grass at the proper height, the Automower quietly cuts the grass of lawns as large as 1,800 square meters (more than 19,000 square feet). The mower allows users to set parameters and is designed to run 24 hours per day, seven days per week to maintain the perfect lawn. Its electric motor uses approximately the same amount of power as a 15 watt light bulb and only puts out 63 decibels of sound. Users can program the mower to run on a continual basis, during specific hours or on specific days. As of January 2011, prices started around $2,000.00
Walk-behind Mowers
To mulch or not to mulch is not a complicated question. Electrolux push mowers make it relatively easy to perform either task, depending upon your personal preferences. Electrolux makes push mowers, such as the "Poulan Pro" 3 N 1 Hi-Wheel Push Mower, which features a 21-inch deck, a Briggs and Stratton engine and an option to mulch clippings or gather them in a rear bag for disposal. The Poulon Pro features a gross torque rating of 5.50 feet per pound. As of January 2011, prices ranged from approximately $200.00 to $400.00.
Riding Mowers
If you own a large piece of property, a traditional walk-behind mower may not be the most efficient choice for cutting your grass. Electrolux also makes several riding mowers including the Residential Zero Turn Mower, XP Riding Mower and Lawn Riding Mowers. Designed to tackle larger projects than traditional walk-behind lawn mowers, these riding mowers can handle large amounts of acreage, cutting one acre of grass in roughly 30 minutes. As of January 2011, prices range from $1,600 to $4,440.
