Tiny roaches in your home could be nymphs, the offspring of an adult roach. You may also be dealing with brown-banded cockroaches or German cockroaches, because these are only 1/2 inch in size. Regardless of the type of cockroach you are dealing with, they are undesired, and even though they can infest the cleanest kitchens, they are frequently associated with unsanitary conditions. To eliminate tiny roaches, incorporate the same approach that kills large cockroaches.

Vacuum cleaner

Cockroach bait stations
Silica, diatomaceous earth or boric acid
Clean up your kitchen, because clutter, exposed food and sitting water attracts cockroaches. Get rid of clutter because it offers many hiding spots to roaches. Seal food in airtight containers and avoid leaving leftovers lying around. Clean up pet food and water bowls instead of having them stay out overnight. Drain all water from the sink and fix leaking pipes.
Vacuum your home. Move furniture and appliances so you can vacuum underneath them. Vacuuming removes tiny cockroaches and cockroach eggs. Seal the vacuum cleaner bag and discard it outdoors after vacuuming.
Trap the tiny roaches. Cockroach traps lure the roaches with an attractant. Roaches step onto the traps and stick to its glue and die. Glue traps can kill some of the roaches, but are best when used as a roach monitoring measure to find out what part of the house has the most roaches. Set new traps when your old traps are filled.
Bait tiny cockroaches. Place bait stations in areas where your sticky traps caught the most roaches. Bait stations lure cockroaches with attractive, but poisonous bait. The roaches feed of the bait and die. Living roaches that eat the dead roaches also get poisoned and die.
Dust silica or diatomaceous earth under furniture, appliances and near cracks and crevices in the foundation of your home. Tiny roaches are so small that they tend to hide in cracks and crevices. After coming in contact with silica or diatomaceous earth, the outer coating of the roaches is damaged, causing them to eventually die. Dust boric acid as an alternative. The dust gets on the roaches and upon grooming themselves, they ingest it and die.
Monitor your sticky trap throughout your cockroach elimination attempt. Over time the number of cockroaches you see in the trap will decrease.
