There is a homemade beaver repellent remedy that will deter beavers from chewing wood on your property.
Things You'll Need
6 cups coarse sand
2-gallon bucket
1 gallon indoor latex paint
Wooden mixing stick
Paint brush
Pour 6 cups of coarse sand into a 2-gallon bucket.
Pour 1 gallon of indoor latex paint into the bucket.
Use a wooden mixing stick to thoroughly blend the paint and sand together.
Use a paint brush to apply the paint and sand mixture to any area that needs to be treated for beavers.
Tips & Warnings
It may be necessary to paint an additional coat of this paint mixture due to aging and weather conditions.
Do not attempt to use this paint repellent method during damp or wet weather because the paint will not adhere properly. It is best to do it during sunny weather.
