Homemade Bug Killer for Beetles & June Bugs. June bugs -- also called June beetles -- are most common during the month of June in North America. They are about 1 inch long and feed on leaves and plants. If you are having problems with June bugs and would like to get rid of them you can mix your own repellent without resorting to pesticides.

June bugs -- also called June beetles -- are most common during the month of June in North America. They are about 1 inch long and feed on leaves and plants. If you are having problems with June bugs and would like to get rid of them you can mix your own repellent without resorting to pesticides.
Things You'll Need
Minced garlic
Mineral oil
Fish emulsion
Water
Castile soap
Sealed glass or plastic container
Hydrated lime
Spray bottle
Use garlic spray as a homemade bug-repellent.  
Measure 3 ounces of minced garlic and 1 ounce of mineral oil. Combine them together.
Soak the minced garlic with mineral oil for 24 hours or more. Strain the garlic bits out and put the oil in a plastic container. Set the garlic oil aside.
Measure 1 teaspoon of fish emulsion and 16 ounces of water. Mix them together. Measure 1 tablespoon of castile soap and mix it with the fish emulsion and water mixture.
Mix the garlic oil with the fish emulsion water.
Make a garlic spray by taking 2 tablespoons of garlic oil from the sealed container. Mix the garlic oil with 1 pint of water and spray it on areas where bugs and beetles reside. Do not spray when the temperature is above 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
 
Use lime spray as a homemade bug-killer.
Measure 1 ounce of hydrated lime, 32 ounces of water, and 1 teaspoon of castile soap.
Mix the materials together in a container.
Spray it twice a week in areas where you are having bug problems.
