Things You'll Need
Kitchen shears
Large bowl
Sealable plastic food bag
Grasp a bunch of wheatgrass blades in one hand and pull slightly upward to tighten it for cutting.
Use kitchen shears to cut the bunch about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above the soil -- the closer the better. The highest nutrition concentration is near the roots.
Drop the cut shoots into a large bowl. Repeat the process for the rest of the crop.
Put the cut wheatgrass into a sealable plastic food bags.
Refrigerate your wheatgrass for up to a week.
