The Cub Cadet Company is a leading producer of lawn and garden equipment for the homeowner. One of their products is a walk-behind mower with a bagger attachment. This mower has a 139 cc OHV engine and a single lever six-position height adjustment. Occasionally, you will need to make minor adjustments to the mower to keep it in peak operating condition, but in doing so, it will provide years of performance.
Things You'll Need
Engine oil
Clean cloth or brush
Air cleaner filter
Light oil
Clean the engine regularly with a cloth or a brush. Clear away all grass clippings and debris. This will permit proper air circulation for peak engine performance.
Clean all debris away from the muffler area.
Keep engine oil at its proper level.
Change the air cleaner after 100 hours of use, or more often when conditions are extremely dusty.
Clean the spark plug and reset the gap to the proper level every season.
Lubricate all pivot points on the blade controls, wheels, torsion spring and rear discharge door periodically to keep the mower operating at peak levels. Clean the deck of all debris after each use.
