Because of the holes in the chicken wire, it is simple to connect it to the stakes as well as to other pieces of chicken wire.
Things You'll Need
Chicken wire
Wooden stake
Staple gun
Wire
Wire cutters
Connecting Chicken Wire to Stakes
Wrap the chicken wire around the stake one complete turn.
Staple the chicken wire at the top and bottom of the stake.
Staple at several intervals along the stake if the stake is long, or if the chicken wire does not feel secure.
Connecting Chicken Wire to Another Piece of Chicken Wire
Cut a piece of wire. It should be several inches long.
Overlap the two pieces of chicken wire.
Thread the short piece of wire through two holes that are overlapped.
Twist the wire securely to keep the chicken wire in place.
Continue attaching wire down the length of the chicken wire fencing where it is overlapped.
