Things You'll Need
Bicycle tire inflator
OR
Air compressor
Tire pressure gauge
Read your owner's manual to determine proper PSI for your tires.
Get your manual air inflator, or get your air compressor ready by turning it on.
Remove the cap on the tire valve stem that is sticking out of the tire. Check the PSI with your gauge by holding it onto the tire stem.
Attach the air hose to the stem, and hold it in place. If this is an air compressor it will start filling the tire automatically; if this is not an air compressor start to pump the manual air inflator.
Check PSI with your gauge very often while filling to avoid overfilling and possible tire rupture. Once proper PSI is achieved remove the air hose and screw back on the tire stem cap.
Tips & Warnings
